We’re Erika and Tuca, the owners of Authentic Brazilian Cheese Bread. Here’s how we use information when you visit our website or get in touch.
What you send us
Order requests include your name, phone number, text-or-call preference, optional email, quantity, and pickup or delivery choice. For delivery, we also collect your street/unit, city, and ZIP code. We use these details to review your request, contact you, and arrange confirmation, fulfillment, and payment. The website does not collect payment-card details.
Our contact form collects your name, email, and message so we can respond. The shipping interest form collects your name, email, and city/state to record interest in future shipping and communicate about that interest. It does not sign you up for a newsletter.
Where information goes
When you submit a form, we keep a record and receive your details by email. We also keep a private order list to manage confirmation, fulfillment, payment, and follow-up. Contact messages and shipping interests are kept separately from orders.
We use service providers to host the website, deliver email, and store our business records. They process information to provide these services. Please avoid including sensitive information that we do not need in a message.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 for basic site measurement without asking you to accept cookies first. It uses cookies and browser identifiers to help measure visits, repeat visits, viewed pages, navigation and link clicks, selected bag quantities, FAQ opens, and successfully received contact, shipping-interest and order requests. Google receives technical information such as browser/device details and your IP address when your browser connects to its service, and can derive approximate location. These identifiers help Google Analytics recognize repeat visits from the same browser.
We do not send form contents, names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or private request references to Analytics. Our analytics code removes query strings and fragments from measured page URLs and suppresses referring-page URLs. We do not use advertising, remarketing, Google Signals, or user-provided data features.
Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can use browser controls to block or clear cookies, block analytics requests, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Clearing cookies alone does not prevent new ones. Ordering and contacting us work without analytics.
Technical processing and retention
Hosting and network services process connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. The application logs request references, route categories, status, timing, and operational outcomes rather than form contents or query strings. Form validation, request-size limits, origin checks, and submission-rate limits help prevent misuse. Unsubmitted form drafts stay in page memory and are not saved as customer records.
We keep business records, their email and spreadsheet copies, backups we make, and retained technical logs for as long as the business operates. Google Analytics user and event data are subject to Google’s retention settings and limits; aggregate reports can remain available longer.
